The optimal design and planning of audience seating is an integral part of a successful auditorium and can have a considerable impact on audience comfort, safety, and their general appreciation of the venue. Artec's basic Auditorium Design and Planning services start with
defining the geometry and layout of the seating areas within the
performance venue, taking into consideration sightlines, circulation,
acoustics related issues, appropriate row-to-row spacing and seat
widths, as well as the design of any adjustable seating systems.
We then continue with design services that complement the architect's
work in the design of the individual fixed and loose seating units,
with specific technical input related to comfort, durability, and
acoustics.
