Auditorium Acoustics

Sightlines, seating comfort, and ease (and safety) of circulation are key factors directly related to the way the audience will experience the performance, and to their impression of the facility as a whole. Artec works with the Architect of the project, as well as local fire and safety specialists in these areas, in order to achieve the optimal configuration.

This iterative and collaborative design process is usually started off with a Basic Design by Artec, which defines key auditorium geometries related to these and other issues in drawings. Then, as the Architect shapes the visual aesthetics of the auditorium, Artec works with him/her to ensure that a high quality audience experience is not compromised.
