When a competitive selection process is necessary for the Architect or Developer, Artec is typically engaged to advise the Client and the architect selection committee as part of our basic scope of services.

Programming and pre-design materials developed by Artec, and in particular the Facility Description Document with its key planning documents, are used as part of the Architectural Brief of the competitive process.

In such cases, after the selection process, Artec then continues to advise not only the Client but also the Architect (and or Developer) as a principal member of the Design Team.
