Projects involving facilities for performing
arts education require particular care to understand and meet both
the actual needs of the resident institution and probable future
growth. Artec works closely with the faculty and administration
of the school, or conservatory, at the outset of the project to
jointly establish the appropriate size and type of necessary spaces
and the desired level of quality for the institution. This information
forms the basis of the key planning materials that Artec develops
in the Pre-Design
Phase, in particular the Facility

List, which are used to estimate the construction cost. Artec
then continues to advise the Client and the other members of the
design team through the development of the design, construction
and beyond.
