Russell Johnson shortly after the opening of the concert hall
in Birmingham over 10 years ago. After my last concert in
Birmingham with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, I must
confirm that Symphony Hall still has one of the best acoustics
in the world. We have also invited Russell Johnson to help
us improve the acoustics of the Avery Fisher Hall in New York
and within a short period of time he was able to solve our
problems at a very high level.
