

Founded in 1697, Trinity Church is a vibrant Episcopal parish, which provides 18 weekly worship services to the community. The present Trinity Church was consecrated on Ascension Day, May 1, 1846. Through the 19th century, its soaring Neo-Gothic spire, surmounted by a gilded cross, dominated the skyline of lower Manhattan.
The intersection of New York's famed Broadway, and Wall Street, has been the location of three buildings for Trinity Church since its inception. The present, and third, building was designed by Richard Upjohn is considered a classic example of Gothic Revival architecture. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
