Patrick's Projects Experience

Patrick Barrett is a senior consultant and project manager with background in technical design and technical management for theatre.

Mr. Barrett holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Studies with a concentration in Sound Design from the University of Connecticut. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Technical Design and Production from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale his curriculum included theatre systems engineering, structural design for the stage, architectural acoustics, theatre architecture, and show control system design and implementation.

Prior to joining Artec, Mr. Barrett worked as a project manager for Pook, Diemont & Ohl, Inc., a theatrical equipment contractor. While at PDO he managed the design and installation of audio, projection and show control systems for the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in San Juan and the American University in Cairo, Egypt. Mr. Barrett has also worked as technical coordinator for RH Productions Inc., a New York based entertainment design firm, creating attractions and interactive experiences for theme parks and retail spaces.
